Was on a fy kick for awhile but crushed too much ice cream lately. Specifically, Maple Walnut from Hood. Hood is way better than Friendly's.

Haven't had custard for awhile and the rare gelato.

Love ice cream. Cold stone is up there with five guys on my overrated scale. Probably because I have 2 tremendous mom and pop ice cream stands within 5 miles.

Gelatos claim to fame is that it has less air than ice cream. Supposedly makes for better flavor. Its the new hot trend for people that try hard to look cool. I'll stick with ice cream

ice cream then gelato then fro-yo

no clue about custard, never had it

There aren't really any good mom & pop places near me so I usually hit Dairy Queen for a medium vanilla cone dipped in either butterscotch or chocolate.

About 3-4 times a summer I'll drive to Kimballs in Westford. That place is awesome.

I bought some blue bunny red velvet cake ice cream the other day....money.

We have an homemade stand every 3 miles up here and they are all very good. When I was a kid dresser hill in Charlton Mass was king.

Frozen custard is by far the best of the bunch. Oreo custard at Chilly Cow in Arlington center might be the best frozen dessert I've ever had.
