I really dont see much of a difference between Easter and the other holidays deserving of threads over the years.

No way. Easter's not even on your radar if you're an adult without kids. It became non-existent for me during college/spring break years and I don't know it's coming until somebody starts a thread.

I will say I enjoyed it more as a kid, but take away the candy....replace football for basketball/hockey and bammmm you got T-day!
