What a fucking shame. He was a great asset to the show and it's not same without him. Howard's great but still too out of touch with a lot of big topics, namely sports. Artie could always fill those blanks (Gary too, but he's producer not talent).
Now, I'll never get to call him out on his book's lies on air (not that I'd ever get through).
Was funny to hear Howard's name get mentioned on Oprah several times (when David Arquette was on) after she had him airbrushed out of Sirius ad, which is like airbrushing Tom Brady from a Pats ad.

i went to the gym today when Howie Mandel first came on, worked out for 45 mins, and he was still on by the time I got home. I will watch that silly Mobbed show only because I watch AI anyway and its on after. I'll give it a shot.

He was a good interview today. Basically, he winged his way into a comedy career and the stories were pretty good stuff. I remember him blowing up BITD.
The Baba-booey isn't over the top like a lot of them (like that nut yelling about Kelsey Grammer)). He just kind of slides it in there and Carey says, "You have a pet monkey?", obviously hip to the joke.
Wish he still got A-listers by the truckload.

the last couple weeks have been good with Takei and Arquette sitting in (I only caught end of MM and missed CC today - did she call in?)

Arquette's a goofy prick but he cracked me up a few times, like asking MM to ride the Sybian. MM was on for quite awhile. CC showed up in person during the news.
