im an idiot i paid 50 for the phone And 60 for the car charger and case. Glad i looked at the recipt before i went down there.

I never gave it a thought to do before, but I synced up my iPhone to my home wireless (just while I'm home, obviously) and it's about 20X faster. Wish I thought of that two years ago.

Is it true that there's no such thing as an unlimited iPhone plan anymore? Mine comes up in august but zero chance I change my plan if I'm gonna get banged for data overage...and I tend to use a lot.
I'd be better off paying full boat for a new phone than getting a new contract deal with overages.

Pretty sure I have unlimited data. I honestly haven't looked at my bill in ages. It's on auto pay to my CC. I get a text when the payment goes through. If it's unusually high, I'll take a further look. But it never is.
Though I use laptop mostly at home, I do use iPhone at home a decent amount between shitter, just woke up, help put me to sleep, etc.

Well yeah that's what's happening on my current plan as long as I keep it and don't renew? That's the way I interpreted it based on what I've heard. Could be wrong though.

unlimited is grandfathered, at least for the time being. don't sign up for tethering option that came with last ios update, that changes data plan from unlimited to a capped plan.

Nope, you can sign a new contract for a reduced price on your phone, but usually that doesn't affect your actual plan.

yeah, guy gave me the heads up to make sure we kept our existing plan when we went from 3g to iphone 4.

AppleCare was $60 well spent. I was having issues last year and they just gave me a new phone (new to me, anyways).
