Saw the promo tonight. Calling it Boston's "south side" is just plain awful. Neither Southie or the place it typically gets confused with, the South End, are on the 'south side' of Boston (not to mention, nobody uses 'side' here like they do in Chicago or NYC).

Looking forward to the ep. Noticed him in Murphy's, L St., and my spot, the Q. Had no idea they filmed in there.

Lou, did you see our mutual friend in the Jerry Remy ad? Funny stuff.

the mistaken identity stabbing at the Quencher kind of ruined the place for me. Never spent too much time there. Preferred hanging with Bob at the Williams.

That stabbing had nothing to do with Q other than the fact the people came out of there to help the poor kid.

The victim had the misfortune of looking quite a bit like one of the local junkie degenerates and he just happened to get stabbed there.

It's a good little n-hood spot to watch a game, play Keno (not my bag), have a few, and not be jammed in like the BBG.

Lotta choices. I gotta check out that Telegraph Hill on Dot St.

Like you said, can't wait to see that ad all year. I worked with the other guy who got him on there.

I'm also a fan of the Quencher.

I wrote up a blog on it but EP never used it. Yeah, GG filled me in. Too funny. Should be on NESN soon enough.

You'll never see French doors/windows up the Q.

Awful that he thinks Howie Carr is "as Boston as it gets". He's not even a New Englander, let alone Boston.

He loves telling the story about how his house was staked out.

That was a dopey call. Let's have a SS kid show him around the city. They were lit up at the Q though.
