Yeah, Goodman used to do scores then some time before he straightened out. I heard that Paulie was more an earner than a bona fide wise guy (my aunt's father knew him back in NYC).
"Southie" doesn't even warrant mention, nor does The Goondock Saints. That movie is about as "Boston" as "Far and Away" is.
I mean, it's a good flick. But it didn't blow me away or anything. Thought "Mystic River" and "The Town" were much better.
