Vazquez pitches well out of the spotlight and he couldn't be in less of a spotlight than he is with the Marlins. Shields still gets a shit load of k's and if he can get his ERA down that's a great value pick. If that's what you have behind Haren, Gio and Buchholz that ain't too shabby.

I love how people think James Shields is good. Take it from someone who owned him..............he's not. He sucks, in fact.

somebody, anybody in this league do everyone a favor and compare their rosters with mine position by position.

if my team doesn't come out ahead in at AT LEAST 17 of the 25 roster spots, mix in an appointment to get your head examined.

the only good thing in your pre-season preview would say "lots of experience on the Bird Watchers"

'experience' defined = a .290/28/95 line minimum in their sleep.

your squad:

posada = speaking of older than dirt
miggy = a couple of drinks from being on a show with dr. drew
kinsler = good for 3 DL trips a year
alvarez = good to see you learned your lesson with mark reynolds, 25 bombs are great when they come with a .220 BA, not
drew = DL trips run in the family
holliday = solid, too bad he isn't josh hamilton
rasmus = solid, too bad you should've taken mike stanton
rios = abreu's stats 7 rounds earlier

...best of luck

I like Brian Matusz, I wouldn't talk about running away with a league where he is my number 3.

Rasmus went before Stanton?

Edit: for the record I like Rasmus Berry pointed out how last year he was similar to JHEY

He doesn't even have a #1. Neither Clay or Gio have the year they had last year.
