That was back in 1999. It's no coincidence Coach K hasn't recruited any more "street" kids since then. Maggette got money from his AAU coach. Any other school would have gotten penalized for that. After that I think K said, why bother? They don't need the one and done kids to be successful.

Based on the number and type of people who heavily praised Hill, I came to the conclusion that it was just a more erudite and crowd-friendly version of Chris Rock's legendary bit.
