magnitude of power, this was, if I heard correctly, 1000 times more violent.

2011 quake was a 9.0.

How did I miss the point? Mk was clearly not comfortable with donating cash to charity knowing what a farce brand name charities can be. I expanded upon that.

Columbus-based insurer Aflac said Monday it has fired voice actor and comedian Gilbert Gottfried — the voice of the company’s famed duck — because of insensitive remarks he made via Twitter following last Friday’s catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Gottfried, 56, has been part of Aflac’s duck advertising campaign since 2000, primarily spouting the supplemental life and health insurer’s name in a high-pitched tone, ala “Aflaaaaac!”, during television commercials.
Beginning Friday, Gottfried wrote a series of Twitter posts poking fun at the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Here are some of his tweets:
"What does every Japanese person have in their apartment? Flood lights."
"Japan is really advanced. They don't go to the beach. The beach comes to them."
"My Japanese doctor advised me to stay healthy I need 50 million gallons of water a day."

Check back for updates to this developing story.

So this might turn into the first nuclear accident anywhere in the world in 25 fucking years, clearly that means it's an unsafe source of energy that should be immediately abolished. So what if it's completely safe other than a single once-in-a-generation catastrophe somewhere on Earth (I'd like to see the eventual death toll for this compared to the various gas leaks and oil rig accidents that seem to happen somewhere on a daily basis), is a nationally self-sufficient form of energy, and is environmentally clean....a bunch of braindead hippies don't know the difference between nuclear energy and nuclear weapons, so let's get rid of it. Fucking morons.

Not a good move for the idiot.
Japan generated about 75 percent of Aflac’s 2010 sales, the most among U.S.-based companies with a market value of at least $100 million, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The company’s products include cancer insurance.

Thanks to that photo, I had a dream last night that I was in a room, and a boat came in through the window.
