I've only been through it. Never stayed. All I know is that when it hosted a Super Bowl it did not get a lot of praise.

How cool can Jacksonville be if they have one shot at being a big city yet they can't sustain an NFL franchise.... they can't support professional football?

Jacksonville is terrible.
I've been to Ponte Vedre twice to play Sawgrass and since there's nothing to do there you have to go to Jax. It is legit the worst "city" I've ever been to to party in....cocktail party not withstanding I'm sure.

A good buddy of mine from Springfield, VT decided to randomly become a Jacksonville Jaguars fan years ago. Until recently, he had season tickets, and flew down there from Manchester for 4-5 games a year. He loves it there, and even befriended the other fans in his section. He cut back on his travel, but still makes it down annually.
It's not somewhere I'm clamoring to go, but he likes their beaches and titty bars, and I suppose life is what you make it.

Was holding back on this one til expos brought up strip clubs....
