Longoria is overrated, hes getting drafted as a top 10 guy in some places and I don't think he is.

why, numbers are the similar to Zimmerman who goes 5-10 picks later while Longorias lineup isn't as good as last years.

With the real lack of power in the league, someone coming off a 22 HR season shouldn't be a lock top 10 pick.

Huh? his sub 3.7 ERA and 1.3 WHIP last year seem to think differently.

Did a mock, hitters gets ugly in a hurry.

Only guys I'd target in 6-10 are Carlos Santana and Pedro Alvarez.

Oh and Pablo cause BP likes him this year.

10 team league, we can keep 7 to 9 guys.

I kept 8 and one other guy kept 8 so I have 2nd overall pick of whats left.

Paps (I don't have a closer yet)
Jered Weaver
Buchholz
Delmon Young
Billy Butler

Votto
Longoria
Crawford
J Upton
Dunn
Hanson
Ellsbury
G Beckham

I had Wainwright too (AIDS)

I could use pitching but Delmon Young could have a monster year, so could Billy Butler

I'm assuming 1b, 2b, ss, 3b, c, OF, OF, OF, UTIL and then your pitchers. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Billy Butler would be a third first baseman and Delmon a 4th OF, though considering Ellsbury has a vagina Delmon is definitely an option. It would be either him or Weaver and I'd lean towards Weaver since Wainwright is down and you only have one other pitcher AND it seems there may not be any other top flight options at pitcher. If you're lucky Clay gets back to you and you have a solid top 3.

we have 1B, Corner INF, and Util so I could start 3 first baseman. Weaver is highest rated non-kept player (according to CBS) but he's not a sexy pick. I'm a sucker for upside.

Three 1B restricts flexibility, though I guess you could look at it as a position of depth. Then again, the position is deep anyway so your trading leverage might not be as much as you think unless the guy who gets Pujols loses him to injury.

For whatever reason, I'm not a big Weaver fan myself, but the numbers don't lie. I'm still leaning towards Weaver because finding another bat will be easier than finding an arm anywhere close to Weaver.
