yes. haven't signed up for a data contract yet and I got mine at christmas. most of the use is at home and school which is obviously wifi covered.

data plan has no impact on price. 15 or 30 bucks a month, depending on usage, but there's no contract required. If I'm on vacation or away, I'll probably sign up for a month and then cancel it.

wifi only versions are less expensive, not sure what the price on mine was since it was a gift. but there's no subsidy like regular cell phones.

soooooo my itunes library is empty on my laptop( I deleted all of my music on purpose ) but the songs are still on my iphone. There is a bunch of shit that I want to delete but I can't. I synced my phone last night and still nothing.

If you have all the info that you need (contacts, email settings) backed up you could simply restore the device to the original factory configuration.
Settings (gear icon)\General\Reset
From here you can select "erase all data" or some such thing and the Iphone will be wiped clean, which is OK if you have it backed up.

The NBC sports talk app is very slick too.

The Daily could be good with their use of technology but it's basically news written for 8 year olds.
