don't know. CBS has all your draft picks in the 'trade players' queue, so it's easy to send multiple picks or 1 for 1's.

I would assume first five are in some order

Pujols
Miggy
Hanley
Cano
Tulo??? maybe CC

I would go with Votto.

Anyone else see Clay Kershaw jumping into the ELITE level this year?

Either of the Gonzalez boys would be a good fit here. I also assume Carl Crawford will be available too. I don't think Votto can have the same kind of year he had last year.

I don't like the draft this year at all, especially early on. I'm sitting 6th but with Longoria, CarGo and Votto all being kept, there are some serious questions by the time you get to me. Great players for sure, but I have been a little uneasy.

That's why I have traded away my first two picks and have loaded up on picks in rounds 3 through 5, not to mention picking up Tommy Hanson today which is like another 4th or 5th rounder. In reality, I mortgaged a bit of my future to make a run late last year so I don't have high expectations this year anyway, so I'm just hoping to be competitive and maybe pick up a keeper on the cheap for next year. The strategy has worked for me in the past so who knows.

All I know is I enter the season with Tommy Hanson, Josh Johnson and Delmon Young(and possibly Joe Nathan if I round up some more cash) and a boat load of picks in rounds 3 through 5. I also hope no one realized Bryce Harper is available in Yahoo! leagues this year as I'd love to draft him in round 20 and have an incredibly low keeper price as a result.

AY up until a week ago I was with you on it being a shitty year. Now that I have gotten a chance to look at it more I am intrigued by some of it.

I am pretty much just going to build my pitching staff in rounds 4-9, prolly take 4 SP in that stretch. With a guy like Alvarez and Prado mixed in for bats.

Oh and check out Wandys second half numbers....FILTH

Dont' get me wrong UConn, there are some players available mid to late first round that I think could have career years(A-Gon, Crawford) or continue from last year(Cano), but I have reasons to fear busts on all of them. I just decided to pick up extras a little later on because there are a ton of good players to be had in rounds 3-5.

I got the 7 pick and it looks like I'm getting either AGonz, Cano, or Tulo (league favors power)

looking to get Youk or Zimm on the way back.

What round is JHey going in? Take out that month he had with a bum wrist and guy was a stud.

Brett Anderson = Jon Lester 10 rounds later
Jay Bruce = Ryan Braun 10 rounds later
Edinson Volquez = Ubaldo Jimenez 10 rounds later
Gordon Beckham = Dustin Pedroia 10 rounds later
JJ Putz = 42 saves
Adam Dunn = 50 HR, .270 AVG, 110 RBI
McCutchen = the 2010 Carlos Gonzalez, top 10 pick in 2012 drafts

...your welcome

what draft are you in that Bruce calls that far, i figured latest he went was 7th.

Hamilton, JHey, Ubaldo though its tough to say withouth knowing who other people are keeping.

Longoria is overrated, hes getting drafted as a top 10 guy in some places and I don't think he is.

I think Heyward is the top 10 pick next year not McCutchen.

I have no idea what to make of Justin Upton this year.
