this team is ridiculous. they run away with the AL East.

I like the enthusiasm but there are way too many question marks with this starting rotation. Lackey, DiceK and Beckett are all suspect heading into the season. Also, I fully expect Lester to be better than last year but will Clay? He lived very dangerously last year especially with the bb's and he'll be in the rotation from day 1 this year. This staff isn't nearly as deep considering DiceK and Beckett will most likely hit the DL at some point this year. Wakefield is no longer the answer for more than a spot start . I'm calling 97 wins and a division title. This team However is built for the post season.

Dan Wheeler will be the biggest offseason acquisition from a pitching standpoint.

Huh?

La Russa seems to think they have the depth from within but I don't see it.

The Yankees are pretty hot for him too. All of the Sox defensive players just went limp with your post mcm.

This may bring Ronnie back again.

Boston Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett was visibly shaken up after getting hit on the left side of the head with a ball before Monday's spring training game.
Beckett, who was standing in left-center field, went to one knee after he was struck and teammates immediately called for the training staff. He was escorted off the field with his hand on his head.
