The game barely captured my attention, and I didn't bet a nickel on it. Glad the Pack won for my absolutely adorable and wonderful downstairs neighbor. She deserved it.

Unless you're Bears fan or Stillers fan, you really had to be happy the Pack won. Team got beat up all year and had to settle for a Wild Card because of a shit call in Week 1. Tough to root against.

I didn't say I didn't. Frankly, I spent much of the second half playing pool and glancing up after it became 21-3. Hard to follow in a bar with the sound not on super loud. It's amazing how much watching a Super Bowl in a bar really sucks.

Tell me what's wrong with the NHL in comparison to the other 3.

They pissed and moaned their way out of an entire season and then put those insulting "thank you fans!" messages into the ice, allowed an aberration in the parity of the American/Canadian dollar to start a trend of franchises in Southern markets that nobody cares about, make no effort to market the sport to non-traditional (read: non-white) fan bases, and put their national games on TWO channels owned by the most incompetent, thick-headed media company in America.

I'm not going to be one of those people who trashes hockey for the sake of trashing hockey. It's not a sport that I follow or am knowledgeable about, but even a person with a layman's knowledge of sports can figure out pretty quickly that the major professional league for the sport is laughable.

I remember when MLB came back from the strike in 1995 and their marketing slogan was "What a Game." I remember thinking "the slogan should be 'What? A Game?"
