I got a family friend in FLA. Just mail all the shit to him and he sends it right back, waiting to be signed. For a very nominal fee.

I may give completetax.com a look this year. Due to some sort of mixup, I had to file manually last year so I won't have the advantage of having all my info saved with HR Block this time around. I saw a commercial for completetax.com where you can file free if you collected unemployment last year, which I did.

According to Turbo Tax, IRS is not processing any itemized returns until Feb 14. Turbo Tax is the best if you don't have a complicated situation.

I think you're crazy to not use an accountant if you have itemized deductions. I know K-G will probably tell me I'm nuts or whatever, but my accountant is the furthest thing from a "scumbag" and we make out MUCh better than we ever have with turbotax.

They just know what you can write off vs. what you can't.

Just filed my federal online with hrblock.com. Got a hair under $2100 which I was pretty happy with. Pennsylvania won't let me e-file so I'll have to hold off on that (won't be getting nearly as much back anyway).

Nah, if you itemize I got no problem with using an accountant. It's the idiots with simple returns that use accountants that I laugh at.

finally went through with Turbo Tax. I'm getting 225 more with TT than the other site I assume becuase it asked me more about my heath savings account. Either way, win!! Site said I should have it around 2/18.

I'll just end up blowing it at the casino anyhoo.

I have my state tax forms in the mail, but the feds didn't send me a booklet. Also waiting for my 1099-MISC from Stump, but I have my W2-G, my losing tickets to claim against it, and my bank interest/stock income forms, and of course, my Schedule HC. Let's see what I get.
