yesterday at the blackjack table we had a dealer that had to be on her first or second shift. Slow as shit and had a hard time figuring out blackjack payouts. She had 17 and paid me my $40 when I was showing K 7.

Do you go to the Hard Rock or is there one of those Seminole casinos near you? My last trip down in August, the Seminole near me just started having blackjack tables.

good luck. my usual move is to take advantage of the free rooms and head down on a thursday after work and take friday off.

played 2-5 for like the second time ever two thursdays ago and played about 10 hands all night and lost it all on two hands. A-K lost to K-9 on a river 2 pair and KK lost to A-7 on flop of 7-7-4 and I push all-in. me = -500. Played 1-2 at the most boring table ever and lost about $50 in a couple hours. I'm down about a G in my last 2 trips

Ouch, tough run. I'll likely play 1/2 b/c I kind of want to start semi-deep with 150-200bb but don't want to get crazy and sit with $500+ and playing 2/5 would almost require that in my mind. Otherwise you're just asking to get blown off hands all night or be forced to push in on something marginal.

I haven't been down there much to play; any straddling? will they run it twice/three/four times in a heads up all in/huge pot if both players agree? Last time I was down there I was at the most hyper aggressive table of all time; open for $6, utg+1 to $24, cutoff bumps to $50, button calls...etc. Almost like every hand. People think a 1/2 table is all small ball but it hasn't been in my experience and there are very deep 5/10 players that grind at 1/2 with huge stacks.

I don't feel comfortable sitting at a 2/5 table down there with only 500....I sat once with 500 and felt very "inadequate", lol. I think the max buy in is a 1k right?

the 1/2 table can be hit or miss.....Im always on the move until i find a lively table. Ill play it our for about 30 minutes, which gives you a good idea of whats going on

Pretty sure the Foxwoods 2/5 tables are $200 min and $500 max. They don't have that many so the stacks of the survivors can get huge.

yeah its 200/500. If you sit down with 200 you pretty much just have to push with the first decent hand you get.

I think 5/10 is 1000/2000 but I'm not sure I've never played.

There's usually one guy at every table that straddles consistently. I think you can straddle to 8 after the first guy straddles to 4 (assumining 1-2 game) but I'm not even sure. It rarely happens.
