Anyone ever been? Thinking about a long weekend in May

I loved it, but there isn't a hell of a lot going on. Great place to get away though and its really close. You gotta be careful because it can get pretty temperate in the off season. We stayed at the Reefs which was a great place

Weather Memorial Day Wknd too risky? Is Reefs the name of the place you stayed or is that an area in Bermuda? Can you fly direct from Boston?

Reefs is the name of the hotel. The avg. temp in May is about 70 so its not a guarantee for great weather but not too bad either. I flew direct from Boston and its a shorter flight than to Florida

Spring Break senior year of HS. I think they were still running rum back then though.

Went again on Boston-to-Bermuda cruise for a wedding.

It's nice there but kind of quiet (not always a bad thing) and expensive. Other places I'd go back to before Bermuda. Bahamas for one, guaranteed much better weather. But Memorial Day should be nice on Bermuda.

Plus, I hear that the Bermuda Triangle is making a comeback.

Got married in Bermuda -- on a cliff at Astwood Park on the south shore (or as I like to say I was trapped: certain death on three side and family on the fourth). Did our reception at Coconuts at The Reefs.

But agreed, it's pricey and quiet. They pretty much roll up the sidewalks at 9:00, but a helluva nice change of pace for a few days.
