so far, my feeling is that Nook > Kindle.

i'm holding out until there's a subscription service for books a la Napster.

10 bucks per book isn't bad, mind you... but still.
the long national nightmare is over.

How many books you read a month, SS?

The issue I have with the ebooks is that you buy one and you're pretty much stuck with all the paperbacks you've already bought. If Amazon offered a deal where you can buy a Kindle and get free downloads of any hard-copy book you've bought from them in say the past year I'd 100% buy it.

Why would you want a cyber-copy of a book you already have/read?

Having a kindle for bulky, heavy college texts would be huge.
