Boston, worst capsule ever?

THE TOWN, 2010, Warner Bros., 125 min. After masked armed robbers hold up a bank and briefly take employee Claire (Rebecca Hall) hostage, the gang's leader Doug (Ben Affleck) insinuates himself into her life to make sure she won't give any unwanted information to the Feds. The two begin a poignant if problematic romance, while Doug's dangerously volatile best friend (Jeremy Renner) keeps a watchful, malevolent eye on the couple. Ben Affleck excels as both director and lead in this gritty tale of South Boston hoods chasing the allusive Perfect Crime. With Jon Hamm and Blake Lively.

I can't tell you how many times/places I've read that about this movie.

If you're white, Irish, and past Worcester, you must be from Sow-thee.

Correctamundo.

Movie shop is Thornton's across from Junction and Salsa's.

Real life one no longer in existence. If there really was one.

I assumed the florist was based on the florist right in Thompson Square. The coffee shop behind the florist always seemed kind of seedy. Awful food. Just a place for old townies to congregate.

Nope.

And haha at 'seedy'. It's 70-year-old guys having coffee.
