These stories don't concern me as much that they happen, but more that now everyone (i.e. teh terr0r1sts) knows they routinely happen.

They already played the airplane card.

Their next stunt will be land based.

I was living in Arizona when 9/11 happened. Went to the first Cardinals game at home shortly after, when they had diverted passenger flights away from the stadium, but still had FedEx and UPS flying close by. No matter what was going on in the game (usually wasn't much, considering it was the Cardinals), there was a weird silence when a cargo plane flew overhead.

Always thought a sporting event would be the next big attack as well.

Doubt they would have attacked a stadium with 300 people in it though.

With you. Honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet.

The longer in between attacks, the worse I think it'll be.

disagree.

9/11 was a hugely well coordinated attack backed by a cohesive organization with deep pockets.

that's been pretty well broken up, now the concern is smaller group with limited resources working on their own. and we're not exactly dealing with rhodes scholars in a lot of cases.

something might go down, but it won't be on the scale of 9/11.

Not bad actually. Definitely better than US Air/United/Continental

Thats comical. Continental is easily the best domestic airline going.

1. CO/United
2. Southwest

thats it.
