COLOMBO Ugg boots, Sri Lanka ugg winterstiefel, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Police rescued a Sri Lankan minister from a state-owned television station following his alleged assault on the station's news chief ugg schuhe, witnesses said.
A Lanka Business Online journalist who was at the scene said Minister Mervyn Silva was held hostage and covered in pink paint by workers at the state-owned Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corp. -- and it was all captured by television cameras and broadcast nationally, Lanka Business Online reported Thursday.
Rupavahini news director T.M.G. Chandrasekera said his colleagues prevented Silva from leaving the station after he grabbed Chandrasekera by the neck and dragged him into the chairman's office where he said the official assaulted him. Chandrasekera said he was assaulted a second time by an associate of the minister after he escaped from the office.
The news chief said his colleagues barred the official from leaving the station and demanded he apologize. Silva was then doused in pink paint while exiting the building under police escort.
Deputy Media Minister Mahinda Abeywardene ugg baratas, who showed up at the scene during the incident ugg onlineshop, promised an inquiry.
