Spencer I think Prado is a guy I would target in that group.

Prado is going to get you a shit ton of runs.

Spencer I am like you I never pay for saves, but may be changing my tune this year. Usually you have trash after the first 20 closers or so. This year the dropoff comes sooner than that.

Other than Mo Rivera, who has proven they can stay healthy and effective for longer than 3 years

Brian Wilson and Soria are due to fall off by the usual short window for closers.I wouldnt want to take a chance with a top 80 pick on one of those guys.
They very well might have a good year but by the law of averages for closers, they are due for an injury or to suck.

yeah i may roll the dice with Broxton or Nathan at some point. Which is rare for me cause either Aardsma or Fuentes was the ace of my pen last year.

Shitty news out of DC if you were looking to get Storen cheap. May start out down in the minors.

The big draft is tomorrow night. I start the year with Josh Johnson, Tommy Hanson and Delmon Young.

finished up our draft a couple days ago - waivers to run this Monday night

I ended up with Putz, Kimbrel, and Rodney as my closers. Mark Lowe and Alexi Ogandi (Texas) are available and Evan Meek and Octavio Dotel. Best chance at saves is ___?

The new guy in my long running league just posted his keepers........picked from the list of free agents instead of his inherited team. Easy money!

Lance Berkman is going LATE in every draft I've seen. He's worth a flier in the late rounds. The Cards line-up = loaded.
