Cano? I think Tulo will be gone. I could go Cano-Zimmerman at 6 and 15

I would go with Timmy over big Howard especially since you have Pujols

How did Utkey not get surgery in the offseason for this knee?
I am really screwed as I would be keeping 4 OF's out of my 5 Keepers

2B and 3B get ugly in a hurry. I think Tulo will definitely be gone. If I'm sitting at 6 when I get my draft order and my top 5 are gone then I'm thinking cano. Depends on your league. There is always that knucklehead that pulls a surprise and somebody you had as top 5 will slip

I would wait on pitching until late fourth or start in the 5th by grabbing someone like Dan Haren as your ace and then Lirano or someone of that type as your 2.

General outlook I would want 3 or 4 starters in my first 10 picks. And looking at ADP for rounds 5-10 whole lotta arms to like compared to the bats where outside of Prado, Pablo, Bruce, and Sandoval not much you can really talk yourself into.

for some reason I don't like Haren. Doesn't he usually suck 2nd half? I think I've gotten Hanson in all of my drafts. Braves are loaded this year. I agree Liriano is another good one to get once the top 5-6 guys are off the board.

Saw some that about the difference in Haren's numbers when Mathis caught vs when Napoli caught. It was pretty significant.

Found it-Matthew Berry's column last week

In 30 innings pitched with Mike Napoli behind the plate last season, Dan Haren's ERA was 4.20.
5. In 44 innings pitched with Jeff Mathis behind the plate, Haren's ERA was 2.25.
I'm havin a good time, Jacques Martin's tryin to ruin it.

The Mat Latos write up in BP is pretty good. Discusses how hes a nut case.

Jair Jurrjens left today's game with an undisclosed injury.

Good thing I have Josh Johnson, Tommy Hanson, Dan Haren, and Ryan Dempster to pick up the slack.

As a Haren owner the last few years I know first hand the amount of bad luck he's had with bullpen and lack of run support costing him games. Might not change but I figure the bad breaks will even out at some point. He definitely is more of a first half Guy. I always ride his first half and then target a trade with a guy who might not know about the past splits.

Closer looks like an absolute shitshow this year

somehow i misread the draft order on the Yahoo! site and really had 9th pick. I still got Cano though. Somehow Votto slipped to me at 12. Got Bautista to play 3rd and Lester in the 4th. I waited till like the 10th round to take an OFer and ended up with Quentin and Granderson back-to-back. I could move Bautista to OF as I took Mark Reynolds in like the 13th round.

Ended up with Morneau again. I think I got him in the 5th. He better stay healthy.

my SS is Asdrubal Cabrera :(

waited till one of the last rounds to take one.

If I don't get Hanley or Tulo I'm not spending a 4th-5th round pick on Rollins or Jeter. I don't mind Reyes at that spot but he's usually gone. My SS's are weak on all my teams. Cabrera has been tearing the cover off the ball this spring. Aviles and Escobar are out there too.
