Boston, does G'Vanni's suck? They are offering 5 course dinner for 4 with round trip limo service (within 20 miles free, $1.50 per additional mile) for $199 total

Huge thumbs down on Nico, place is terrible.
G'Vanni's actually isn't bad. They used to have a deal for a dinner for two including a bottle of (shitty) wine for $19.99 total. I think they might still do it but it's $29.99 now. It was only before 6:00 or something like that. Food was pretty good though. If you live outside the city and could take full advantage of the limo service that sounds like an okay deal. Not great but okay.

Have to agree with Jackie here.
g'Vanni's is OK for that deal (http://www.gvannis.com/deal.htm) but not a ton else. The deal is still exists, two entrees and a bottle of wine for $30. You have to be seated by 6PM on weekdays and 5PM on weekends (way too early unless you're TeeDub or Lugz' age) to get it.
Since I live two blocks away it works well a few times a year when I don't feel like cooking and want to grab an early dinner. mcm, I really don't think that deal you mentioned is that great, the food is OK but it's pretty small and not really worth coming in from MetroWest for.
They are also always on Groupon and other online coupons for like $30 worth of food for $15, but those are also not worth it because those cannot be used on the deal. When that deal is not in effect, their entrees are around $20 and up so it really defeats the purpose.
