BBQ Hash to start = amazing.

Combo plate; Brisket and Memphis ribs. Insane.

Expensive.

Owners son went to college w/ me....food is ok. Not my favorite, and somewhat overrated in my opinion.

You can't get shitfaced in Blue Ribbon = Redbones > Blue Ribbon.
Also and plus, If you sit next to the kitchen the cooks will give you whatever happens to be handy whether it be ribs, brisket, pulled pork..... I've never received a complimentary anything from Blue RIbbon.

For the "experience", RedBones is better, sure.

Blue Ribbon's food tastes better and it's considerably cheaper.

Catering- no contest- blue ribbon is basically 1/2 the price for 2x the quantity.

I never proclaimed Red Bones to be better than Blue Ribbon. I've been on the Red Bones/Overrated train for awhile. (I used to live right outside Davis; ate there a lot.)

However, I will say that last nights Red Bones experience was my best yet.

Blue Ribbon is much cheaper.

Groupon or one of those other websites was selling Blue Ribbon coupons a while back. I think it was $30 for $15.

The Newton locale is on Washington street, right around the corner from Paddy O's Pub.
There is also an Arlington Location on Mass Ave right across the street from Stop and Shop.
