and it's not even close. But I suppose Redbones and Blue Ribbon are perfectly adequate if you're dining sphere is limited to Somerville, Arlington and Newton.

I recently had some Blue Ribbon from the Newton location. Decent, but Dino still blows it away.

If I'm in the area hankering for some 'Q, I head to Blue Ribbon. If I'm in the area hankering for Greater Boston's best wings, I head to Buff's. I can't understand MCM's comparison. It's like comparing the sports book at the MGM to Spearmint Rhino.

I also think Redbones is a bit over-rated, but it does hit the spot and is a good place to get together w/ a group and hang-out downstairs.

I actually prefer Firefly's (Marlboro/Framingham/Quincy) over Redbones.

We've had fireflys cater for lunch a few times and it was great but I've been to the framingham locale a couple times and was underwhelmed. Throw in a couple TV's from the early 90s that made it even worse.

Anyone been to soulfire? It gets decent reviews on yelp.

The Framingham location used to be an Applebee's and I don't think they've updated the decor at all since FF took over. TVs were ancient last time I was in there 2-3 yrs ago.

The Marlborough location is much better.
