and it's not even close. But I suppose Redbones and Blue Ribbon are perfectly adequate if you're dining sphere is limited to Somerville, Arlington and Newton.

that makes sense

total sense

Dedham from town (or downtown-bordering 'hood) = a fucking nuisance

Mass Ave. in Arlington = 10 mins.

I recently had some Blue Ribbon from the Newton location. Decent, but Dino still blows it away.
The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69.

Apples & oranges, no?

Beers & wings & TV's vs. very good take-out BBQ

If I'm in the area hankering for some 'Q, I head to Blue Ribbon. If I'm in the area hankering for Greater Boston's best wings, I head to Buff's. I can't understand MCM's comparison. It's like comparing the sports book at the MGM to Spearmint Rhino.

I also think Redbones is a bit over-rated, but it does hit the spot and is a good place to get together w/ a group and hang-out downstairs.

I actually prefer Firefly's (Marlboro/Framingham/Quincy) over Redbones.

The Meat House has a $40 for $20 coupon available on Groupon today. Only the Brookline location though.

We've had fireflys cater for lunch a few times and it was great but I've been to the framingham locale a couple times and was underwhelmed. Throw in a couple TV's from the early 90s that made it even worse.

Anyone been to soulfire? It gets decent reviews on yelp.

The Framingham location used to be an Applebee's and I don't think they've updated the decor at all since FF took over. TVs were ancient last time I was in there 2-3 yrs ago.

The Marlborough location is much better.

Have you ever eaten Dinosaur BBQ? Don't be so quick to hate.

If they ever open up in Boston, they will dominate like Wegman's is about to. After Boston becomes Mayor, the 315 is taking over.

We're talking Hoffman's Hot Dogs, salt potatoes and Saranac Adirondack Lager for everyone
I'm havin a good time, Jacques Martin's tryin to ruin it.
