Pats -9 seems high.

If -9 seems high to a homer like me, it got to be high.

So did the Patriots play a hated rival yesterday or was the game cancelled?

The Jets offense can apparently make any D look good. And yet I still was shitting bricks right before the Pats milked the clock and iced it with a FG. I had no doubt the jets would win if they got the ball back down 6

I'm sorry but I love watching the games, but the Pats have given me a reason the last few years not to get too excited over a regular season win. I will be saving my ravage obsession after they make the playoffs and win a game there. Until then they are the best regular season team in NFL history over the last decade, so I expect them to win 13/14 every year.

The crowd sucked but the tailgating was outstanding. I'm embarrassed to report that the Foxboro crowd, once so knowledgable and lively, has to be told "it's noise time" and "get loud" by the video boards...... On the tailgating front I've seldom seen as many slutty/scantily attired strumpets as were in the lots yesterday. Great day, kind of hot actually, but I'll take standing outside drinking in shorts and a tee shirt at 10:00 at night over freezing my ass off any day of the week.

LOL @ Ryan having an ad for Comella's on his play card

Gotta find a way to win ugly games some times.... Good week for the D to show up... They needed it

Defense played very quick at times, stepped up and made the stop they had to.....there is hope.

How many QB's in history can throw a pass in that precise?? We are so spoiled watching Tom. I know the days are numbered and someday I will tell the tale of Brady to my grand kids while they laugh at me for trying to compare old NFL style from 2010's to their hip modern style of tela-portation, but this is the closest we get to watching Williams hit, MJ dunk, and Gretzky skate at the QB position.

All that being said I dont believe in the regular season anymore.....wake me when they win a playoff game.

well put Lugz ...was good to know he could still do it..seems last few years its been the D trying to protect a small lead at end of games .. that said main difference between this year and last year to me is they are turning ball over more.. also still need a deep threat .. can't see them winning it all witout one .. 5-1 first place going into bye ..outside of cheese country not another team I would trade places with at the moment

Pats defense looking better. Though he is being crucified for running 3 times Garrett trusted his D to win the game, they had already shut the Pats out in the 2nd half and made them cough up the ball 4 times already in the game. What would the reaction have been if Romo had thrown another ill-timed pick? That last drive was vintage Brady too, some of those throws were incredible. On to the bye week and the annual destruction of the Steelers.

Agreed, given his history and the likelihood of a huge completion he did the right thing.

Another reason why Brady is the balls. He can do whatever he wants and has the complete trust of Belichick.
