Maybe it's just me, but this loss doesn't hurt nearly as much as the media is making it out to be. This team did NOT deserve to make the postseason. And there was no way they would have made any noise with the garbage pitching staff they have right now. When your so-called aces have ERA's in the 5's and 6's in the final month, and you go 8-20 you will be swept by teams that are much better than your ball club...simple fact! So IMO there is absolutely no reason that any Sox fan should bitch and moan because this squad was going nowhere.

My granddad was alive to see the Pats not win a title......he wasn't here when Boone hit that home run. I would rather have the pats win the title while he was alive than see the Sox win the AL pennant and maybe the WS after his death...but thanks.
