Someone tell el pres to quit sending Lackey text messages.

I'm pretty sure Buster Olney's tweet about certain players being out of shape was in reference to Beckett. Sick gut.

Let Epstein go to CHI

The player development group is still in place, find someone who would KILL for this job, just like Epstein circa 2003. Guy thinks people pay to see the team he puts on the field. Fuck him!

700+ straight sellouts says otherwise. Real streak or not its a pretty impressive number.
His free agent acquisitions have been terrible and I'm almost hoping for a playoff game so we can see that POS Lackey spontaneously combust.

Theo didn't go around injuring players all year....shit happens. If the staff stayed healthy this wouldn't have happened.

Injuries turned Beckett and Lester into Way Back Wasdin?
Exactly one month ago we were lauding the fastest team to 80 wins since 1978
A month later they haven't gotten to 90 wins yet.
No balls, no guts, no _________
Fuck them.

From August 26th. AN EARLY 80: Last night’s win gave the Red Sox their 80th of the season in their 130th game of 2011…It is the club’s fastest to 80 wins since 1978 (127th game)…The only other times the Red Sox have reached 80 wins at an earlier date were 1912 (8/22) and 1946 (8/16).

Not sure how Youk skates from criticism, but that out-of-shape, curmudgeonly, fat fucking cry baby came into camp about 34 lbs overweight and basically did dick all season, despite hitting in the catbird seat behind 3 of the best players in all of MLB.

Theo should have dealt this guy last season. Spare me the "he's hurt" excuse too; if he came into the season in better shape maybe he wouldn't injure every part of his fucking body throughout the season.

Yes, I hate his guts for fantasy reasons too, but the fact of the matter is that he had a miserable season and the team needs his bat more than ever and he's off playing grab-ass with the trainer.

Youk isn't skating at all. My "Fuck them" comment was directed at all those pussies, including Youk the holder of ugliest unlikeable whale award.
The Beckett-Lester comment was a commentary on Lugz statement that if the starters stayed healthy this wouldn't have happened. Last time I checked Lester and Beckett were healthy with the possible exception of Beckett twisting his ankle because thats what happens to fat fucks when they are fat. The starters this month are averaging 4.2 innings per outing, and there have been 25 starts this month from those overpaid stiffs. Wakefield? See ya, Lackey? See ya, but I have no idea who would ever take him unless 5Toolers Zito trade is a possibility, then I'd drive Lackey to the fucking airport. Who ever would have thought we'd pine for the days of Dice K. Even though he was the human rain delay he blew up his elbow legitimately and wasn't a pussy, unlike the rest of these frauds. Salty hitting in the 8th inning with the bases loaded last night and the season on the line last night? Please..... If he batted becasue everybody else sucks than see ya Theo for saddling us with no bench. There is no way he should have been allowed to hit there.... but I digress.

No chance they make the playoffs, Colon pitching tonight for the Yankees and Price pitching tomorrow against a Yankees bat boy.

1.Beckett
2.Lester
3.Bucholtz
4. Dice
5.Lackey

Someone give me the number of total weeks the Sox had these 5 going

Anyone who thought Lackey was anything other than a 4 or 5 starter is nuts, he cracked under pressure of having to be 2 or 3, and his divorce. My point was all of these things aren't the fault of the Gm IMO

Clay is hurt every year and will be his entire career, should've traded him when he was worth something. I don't know about you but i'd rather have Halladay for a few years than watching Clay pitch 3 games and call it a season.
