I give every free agent signing 1 year to adjust to playing in Boston. Lackey has had his. He is by far the worst member of the pitching staff. Also, I heard on 98.5 sometime this week that Lackey is on his way to having the worst starting pitcher season performance in Red Sox history.

Also, crawford went 3-4 last night.

hahaha the Sox could have got Crawford for at least 20-30 million less. Suckers.

woke up today feeling really optimistic about this team. Two days off without seeing how much the pitching sucks does wonders for my outlook.

Clay pitching 2 innings yesterday and maybe being ready for Mondays game looms as larger than I would have ever thought. This staff needs a shot in the arms!

Wakefield and Lackey going tomorrow should help with this.

Maybe this will mirror the start of the season, though I think that was caused by the hitters more than the pitchers. Maybe they needed a come to Jesus experience to wake them the fuck up for the playoffs. Maybe I'm just a homer!

On MLB TV yesterday they were saying Clay would pitch out of the pen because his rehab started to late to start before the season is over.
