The offense was head, shoulders and nipples ahead of every other team in the majors at one point. That's how. Lackey signing might be the worst in my 15-20 years of following this team. Definitely worse than the JD Drew signing.

I give every free agent signing 1 year to adjust to playing in Boston. Lackey has had his. He is by far the worst member of the pitching staff. Also, I heard on 98.5 sometime this week that Lackey is on his way to having the worst starting pitcher season performance in Red Sox history.

Also, crawford went 3-4 last night.
