Either way works. For years Yankee fans have said, "we didn't buy Jeter, Mariano, and Jorge...etc" In 2 years no home grown talent will be on the roster.

I'll give you Cano may have something like the career that the previously mentioned guys did, but none of the others will come close to the production.

of course not, cano is going to be a hall of famer.
with the money they have spent on the draft the last 4-5 years, its foolish to think they wont have any home grown talent. they will not all be hall of fame material, but they will always have productive players on their team that they drafted.
