got one of these, you can play music via bluetooth from your phone or any other bluetooth device. Runs on batteries or you can plug it in.

So its like an ipod dock but you dont have to have it plugged into the dock

But yeah, it is funny. Old lady didn't even go overboard either. But was also mother-in-law, family grab (which I'm in to be polite), parents, and three godsons. Also got this (or one very similar):
