So he had been living for the past several years in a massive, walled compound in what sounds like basically the Pakistani equivalent of Arlington, VA (affluent suburb just outside the capital with a large military/retired military population). Yeah, I'm sure NO ONE in the Pakistani government had ANY idea he was there.

RearAd, the reason they dropped it at sea is that didn't want to take the risk of his grave site become a terrorist memorial.

Makes sense to me.

I was literally logging in to say the same thing... Not only that, but the shit was built in 2005 right? I mean this didn't raise any red flags when a compound with 18 foot walls around it was being built? Shaggy and Scooby could have figured that one out even without Fred and Velma

The last thing I remember was hearing someone on TV say the President was going to speak at 10:30.....the sleeping pill and my illness kicked in and I was out seconds later. I am kind of glad, not sure I could have shut the TV off if I had know, and I would be dead meat today.

cool hand's reaction is no different than mcm's reaction of "Obama 1, Bush 0."

the intelligence gathering started days after 9/11. Read this morning how it took them a few years to figure out who UBL "was" in the intelligence community. i.e. what he was referred to as.

Obama kept many of the terrorism experts that started under Bush on staff and it was that continuity that helped this succeed.

People trying to associate a break-in during the Apprentice should lose the right to vote.

lol I'm not a nut job and don't really take politcs very seriously. It was more of a joke than anything. I didn't even vote for Obama. But he did accomplish something that Bush didn't in 7-8 yrs or whatever it was. Just saying

MCA cmon I thought you were in a different boat than CoolHand, MS38, PBC, and some of the other crazies on here but guess not
