Dumb ass! I had a vasectomy!

Those are my favorite accusations to hear from an attorney......of course having one of my girls show up prego makes an quick STD screening necessary.

But really my son got a ticket for having illegal plates on his truck. Only they weren't illegal, the truck was registered to my brother in law, and all legal. The DA pulled us out into the hallway and said he would file a not guilty and after a year of no trouble it would be gone. I asked my son to leave and told the DA that we both knew that it was a crap charge not winnable in front of a jury, but that I liked the fear of it hanging over my kid for 3 months while driving. He agreed and that was that.

I like stories.

Then I got head from the court stenographer.

So your son's truck is registered to his uncle. No biggie there. Why'd the cop feel the need to bust his balls? Didn't answer questions to his satisfaction? Couldn't recite the alphabet?

My brother and law and I decided to let him drive it for a few months before just letting him have it. Kind of a trial basis. The "infraction" occurred during bike week....with Mass plates on his truck and 3 other teenagers in the truck the officer decided it would be a great time to pull him over. He blamed a shred of tshirt that was tied to the ball hitch for supposedly obscuring the plates. Which was bullshit. Boy passed every test and search.

That's just the cop making everybody money at you and your kid's time/expense.

Clogged courts = more OT for everyone.

Now your kid's under the thumb (which you don't mind) all because some cop didn't get blown before he left the house (which sucks for your son).

Why do you think they won't call it in regards to the Drug War? That's putting a lid on the trough.

According to today’s Nashua Telegraph (not verified), every municipal, county, sheriff and state police officer will be patrolling this Friday (11/12) looking for distracted and aggressive motorists.
