The wife of the two-timing Chilean miner said she refused to visit him in the hospital after watching his reunion with his mistress on TV, calling him "cocky."
While the 33 miners were trapped underground, it emerged that two women were holding a vigil for the buried Yonni Barrios.
Marta Salinas, 58, married Barrios 28 years ago, but she didn't know she had been competing for his affections with his mistress Susana Valenzuela, 50.
The two women almost came to blows and had to be separated when they came face-to-face in the mine’s dining area at Camp Hope.

i walked into my bar after work yesterday to talk to the boss, and showing on all the tv's was the cnn live coverage of these guys getting rescued.

i immediately was like "are you kidding me?? you are actually watching this??" to my girl behind the bar, and she defended her decision, and also pointed out the 7 people completely melted to the televisions, riveted by the story.

seriously?

what the fuck is the deal here?

great, these guys got saved... awesome story, good times, amazing.

does every minute of their rescue have to be covered on television like the british open? and how the fuck can anyone have been so interested in this? have people really become this fucking boring, and bored with life, that this entertains them? was everyone watching this secretly hoping for a major accident during the rescue resulting in maiming or death? i don't get it.. have i just become a cynical, sarcastic, old miserable prick? or am i on point?

and the most ridiculous part was that i was looked at (by a bunch of people i know) like i was some sort of sicko, or inhumane, heartless
coldblooded reptile asshole for not wanting to watch this gift from god on camera.

if they all died, this would've been a paragraph press release on the 20th page of the paper on the day after it happened, and that would've been it.

none of you cocksuckers who were glued to your tv's yesterday would've given two shits about any of these idiots if they all died, why now that they have been saved?
