All the liberals on Twitter had Palin on trial within minutes. That said, the crosshair/reload shit is pretty fucking dumb.

A good read on the rush to blame:

She knew what she was saying, and when you've been libeled, smeared and blamed of being complicit in mass murder, you have every right to defend yourself. They accused her of having blood on her hands. She needed to respond in kind.

Alan Dershowitz on blood libel:

Other pols on blood libel:

By the way, how is saying "reload" any worse than a president telling supporters to "bring a gun" to a knifefight, "get in the faces" of your political opponents, and "punish your enemies". And for the record, there are dozens of examples of Dems using "targets" "cross-hairs" and "bullseyes". Its was a stupid complaint.

Read the link I posted, makes same point.

Poor choice of words for her. Again.

When the left lost libs like Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and ladies of The View, you know their attempted character assassination failed. Yet, some in the MSM are clinging to their guns and pushing lame memes to justify their libelous hysterics:

I'd vote for any Republican over Obama.

I wonder if Obama will start his speech out with a 'shouts out' to people like Joe Medicine Crow. For perspective, here's Obama's response to the Fort Hood massacre that killed 13.

Perfect storm for the Dems if she ran. Almost like when Kerry ran against Bush. People hated Bush but just could not vote for Kerry.

That's not completely fair. They did boo Republican governor Jan Brewer. But the Democratic pep rally got back in full swing when Napolitano took the mic.
