I'm surprised it took this long for the US military to release the grave sites. They were the only ones who knew the location of the Japanese dead because they had to collect and bury them as there were very few survivors.

Stoning - Probably not as bad as you'd think, the first decent-sized rock to hit you in the head will knock you out cold

Fire - You'll pass out from the smoke before it gets anywhere near you

Drowning - 5-10 minutes of desperately clawing for air before finally having your lungs fill with water?? No thanks

He said traffic on the bridge did not have to be stopped during the passage because the voyage was made during daytime, reducing any risks.

Obviously.

A Spanish official says a 10-year-old girl living in the south of the country has given birth.

Micaela Navarro, the Andalusia region's social affairs minister, says authorities are evaluating whether to let the mother and her family retain custody of the baby, born last week in the city of Jerez de la Frontera.
Navarro told reporters that the father of the baby is also a minor. Her department declined to give further details, such as the sex or health of the baby.

Spanish newspapers said the mother is of Romanian origin. The daily Diario de Jerez quoted medical staffers who treated the girl as saying they were told by her mother that giving birth at such a young age is common in their country.

STAY OUT OF MEXICO

t's gone from bad to worse along the U.S.-Mexico border.

An American college student majoring in business was shot to death in Ciudad Juarez, becoming the fifth U.S. citizen to be killed in the violent border city in less than a week.

Eder Diaz, a student at the University of Texas at El Paso, was gunned down on Tuesday evening after armed men opened fire on a car that Diaz was in, an investigator told The Associated Press.

His classmate, Manuel Acosta, was also killed inside the vehicle. The U.S. consulate in Ciudad Juarez is still trying to determine if Acosta, 25, was an American citizen.

U.S. deaths is Mexico are on the rise. The country has seen more than 28,000 deaths so far in its four-year-old war on organized crime.

Don't have to tell me twice. The old lady keeps begging for Cabo and I keep declining. Her parents' incident-free trip out didn't help me though.

I'd rather wait awhile and go back to HI.

It's like Weeds but IRL

United States border police involved in one of the largest drug busts in U.S. history discovered a 600-yard drug smuggling tunnel that was part of a sophisticated operation used to transport tons of marijuana between Mexico and southern California, authorities said Wednesday.

The tunnel was equipped with a rail system, lighting and air vents, stretching the length of six football fields underground between warehouses in Tijuana and the Otay Mesa area of San Diego, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.

Agents discovered the passage this week during a massive seizure of about 30 tons of pot, which cops said had a street value of more than $20 million.
