Yes, kids are becoming increasingly useless.

I was on the NYC subway Friday, late teen/early 20s kid starts asking me directions with his app all loaded pointing to where we were. "Don't know buddy, ask that guy [NYC lifer who just confirmed my directions]."
Guy says, "Where you going?". Kid shows the old guy his phone and says he's trying to get to 7th Ave. "You're on 6th now, where are going?". Again, kid shows guy phone and says, "I'm trying to get on this track", pointing to phone. NYer gets aggravated. I said, "Buddy, just tell the guy where you're going?".
Kid says, "Columbia", as train pulls into station. Old guy gets up and says, "Oh, you gotta go to the airport...and you'll need your passport" as he gets off. Kid looked like he was gonna cry. Fucking classic.
To the old guy's credit, he waited for the kid when he got off.
These pansies are gonna get walked all over.
