That's the funny part---it wasn't until 4:00 today when he thought that his fellow McCouncilors should pay for the sins of Curley (or something like that). Guy went batshit crazy but blind support isn't unusual for a guy in his shoes.

In retrospect — and with a nod to Peter, Paul and Mary — maybe Patrick should have made his campaign slogan: “All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go.’’


Would the author be referring to PPM's cover of John Denver's "Leaving on a Jetplane?" Put this in the lazy clueless media thread. How hard is it to do your research?

I'd argue that PPM's version is more widely known. It's not like he referenced VH then quoted a lyric from "Pretty Woman".

If you're going to refer to a song as belonging to someone, it should probably be the writer/original artist.

Just lazy, shitty journalism once again rearing its ugly head.
