fantastic article. I don't typically like her columns, but it got a little dusty.

a peak into the lives of typical, hardworking Bostonians

Over 150 guests attended The Boston Cotillion at Boston Park Plaza Hotel. The event was a benefit of the Vincent Memorial Hospital.

I'm curious as to why many city streets were heavily salted last night. Was there a threat of ice? It didn't rain that heavily, and it didn't rain after 10 PM. They put down much more salt than would have even been necessary for that.

Globe didn't seem to mind when contract was agreed to with MA and then ratified. But everybody's 401k took a nosedive so we gotta get pissed at somebody, namely public servants, even though they didn't fuck up our economy.

"Fuck you, I'm not making what I used to so you shouldn't either!"

I never heard so many white people who've never been arrested in their lives bitch about cops so much in my life.

As I noted previously there should be a full time detail at the N. Washington St. bridge intersection.

The streets weren't that wet and it didn't freeze badly enough to necessitate as much salt as they spread.

Why don't you let the guy who was actually driving around Boston last night opine on Boston issues?

I love self-checkout

my CVS experience has improved markedly since they added them.

the worst is when you get someone in front of you (usually old) that has no idea how to use the system.
