I went out for lunch today and whilst getting Power Ballk tickets for tomorrow night I had them check my power ball ticket from Saturday. I had the single powerball #, which apparently wins you $4. So I gave the counter strumpet another dollar and asked her to give me a $5 scratch ticket and went on my merry way. Scratched it a few minutes ago and am $400 happier now. I like stories.
There is going to be change one way or another. Colin Powell backing Obama could be hugehugehuge for those who were on the fence and respect a man of his stature. As for the local race... I'd rather nail my balls to the floor than see Liz Warren's smug puss on the front page tomorrow.
The worst is a $2 ticket where you hit all 10 prizes and they are $1 or $2.
I know someone who hit $4 million like 5 years when the $20 first came out and he showed me a photo-copy of the ticket and it was one number in the lower left hand corner and it just said $4MIL. Can't imagine how good that feeling must be.
Same guy had also won a million on a $10 dollar ticket like 2-3 years prior. Still buys $10 and $20 tickets like crazy. He's old, like 65-70 so I doubt he has the time to blow through it all. Gave a bunch of it to his kids I think. He doesn't own a car.
