Kislev can be shortened by the Rosh Hashanah observance rules, and Hanukkah starts 25 days after Kislev.

I looked at my desk calendar and it said Chanuka in the upper right hand corner of the 2nd.

Right but like upper left would be morning then lower left = noon and upper right is ~ sundown and lower right is late night like on most calendars, right?
