tea party in the GOP is analogous to the Dems electing 75 Bernie Sanders.

I lost a lot of respect for him over the years, especially after he voted against the online gambling bill. But you know what he does every year? He puts a bunch of old folks on a bus and takes them to Canada so that they can buy prescription meds. Bless him. That's a real healthcare solution. Our own country is screwing us? Buy what you need in another country!

Romney had a heated exchange with hecklers in Iowa on Thursday over whether the wealthy should pay more into the government-run Social Security retirement program and he rejected a shouted suggestion that corporations should pay higher taxes.
"Everything corporations earn ultimately goes to people. Where do you think it goes?" he responded.

The best part to me is that this was a press conference to let everyone know they had released his net worth. After saying he is worth up to $250 million he asks "Where do you think it goes?"

I dont know Mitt I can safely assume a few million of it ended up in your pocket at a severely reduced tax rate though.

I want to like the guy, I really do. I like it when they say, "I'm rich, I know how to create jobs, and how to boost the economy." I mean they don't but at least they come across as more than condescending.

Did people actually watch the Romney clips? I don't get these comments.

What do people think all this consternation and worry and stress by "people" over the bear market is for? If its just those "corporations" losing money, who cares. Its not like pension holders, 401K holders, IRA holders, investors; or employees that are being laid off, having their pay raises frozen, and benefits reduced, or those graduates or unemployed people who understand that those "corporations" make expansion and hiring decisions based on the bottom line and excess capital.

The only people making a fuss are leftist whose base is made up of people who don't - college kids, mendicants, layabouts and people on the dole. Most people with business experience were glad someone said the obvious.

People who incite class warfare, divide people into groups, and stoke that kind of animosity against "corporations" and the "rich" are the people responsible for the riots in London, and will be responsible for bringing them here.

I've reduced it to this for me. I will join the tea party when people making millions of dollars pay in at the same tax percentage as I do. Then I am all for balancing the budget and controlling spending.
