Lara referred to it as an "19th century" facility and padre said "it was the worst prison in Boston". Pretty sure it was the only one in Boston at the time, as well (Charles St. was long gone and not sure South Bay was up and running yet). It was pretty fucking nasty down there.
Giggles, they also left out him calling the guy a "gook", among other things, and when he beat up younger black kids walking home from school once. Then again, he did get arrested a shitload so I guess they couldn't tell every story.
Like when he sicced his 300 lb. black bodyguard after a kid he grew up with over some perceived beef and put the slippers to him while "Robo" held him down, breaking his jaw [why does is matter the bg was black, you ask? In Savin Hill in 1992, it mattered a bunch. And no, I'm not from there].
Got the kid about 3-4 hundred large. And I remember the pigs at the Track printed a pic of him in the Herald drinking a beer asking "how can he be drinking?"---in defense of Marky Mark. Arguably the most pathetic thing they've done on a very long list.
Also loved Lara's "he saved the day" tone when he told the 'Perfect Storm' story about his buddies wanting to steal cameras.
