Perhaps the funniest film about radio since AIRHEADS. Is it predicatble, a bit shmaltzy, and extremely British? Yup. Is there cliche? Definitely. Did I laugh like a toddler at the circus? To the point it hurt. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is great while the supporting cast is rib-splittingly great. Bill Nighy has some of the greatest comedic lines I have heard in a LONG time, with delivery that is so pitch perfect he deserves awards. What a shame this will probably end up merely a cult classic, it has moments as strong as American Graffiti.
