Yes on Han Solo, and according to my daughter it also starred the chick from The Notebook.

saw casino jack with Kevin Spacey about disgraced Lobbyist Jack Abramhoff .. not usually a big Spacey fan but he was perfect for the role and since much of th efilm dealt with my backyard here in DC I give it a solid B

Watched "I Love You, Phillip Morris" with Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor the other night on Amazon VOD after my PPV feed via DirecTv was fucked up.

"Brokeback Mountain" + "Catch Me If You Can" + a dollop of "Escape From Alcatraz", sprinkled liberally with humor.

And it's based on a true story. Funny fuck scenes with Jim Carrey. Starts off good, has a little lull then has a wild finish. Both leads are good in this. It's definitely not for everyone but I liked it. Give it a B+.

"The King's Speech" on Amazon VOD for just $3.99. Don't mind if I do.

Nice little movie with tremendous acting but no fucking way was it the Best Picture of the year. Reminded me of one of those feel-good Disney sports movies where they take a cool story (i.e. The Rookie) then give it the Hollywood treatment (bunch of shit that didn't really happen is added for increased dramatic effect) and everybody goes home happy.

That said, it's definitely worth a watch, if only to watch Colin Firth do his thing.

Also, love that I can click a button on Amazon and get a movie that just came out on DVD today on my TV via my Roku.

Hereafter was awful, save for the tsunami scene at the beginning. Jay Mohr? Are you serious, Eastwood?

127 Hours was great.
