Just saw it in a real theater. Bumping my grade up to an A (from a B+), though I wasn't too big on the ending.

Fenway was cool and all but I must've missed 50% of the audio at the screening---it was a like a silent film compared to tonight. Filled in a lot of gaps.

anyone see Dennis Leary indy C-town movie Monument Ave a few years back.. i'm prob in minority but as much as I loved "The Town" i enjoyed Learys more... was a smaller movie but some classic scenes

I'm a fan and "The Town" used some of the same themes/issues (i.e. Toonie vs. Townie shit, head guy to answer to). But "The Town" is a better movie. Agreed on great scenes though.

Great movie and it's nice to actually have a Boston movie be filmed in Boston and make sense as far as the scenery, etc.

Saw it last night. Agreed & agreed. Lively's role was superfluous

We absolutely HOWLED at the BPD detail cop sitting in his car. That was a great shout-out to Massachusetts, and it probably doesn't even register w/ folks in the rest of the country.
