I'll be in the house tonight. My first World Series game, beyond pumped. _________________ The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69. |

Enjoy it, X.
I tried to catch the Yankees in '99 against the Braves but couldn't make it over to Atlanta thanks to work. _________________ ex-gambler |

I forgot, this is the time of the year PhillyBC "reminds" us he's a Phillies fan. At least over the last couple of seasons. _________________ ex-gambler |

Phil Hughes has a 9.64 ERA over seven appearances during the postseason.

WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?
Took 2 days to get my voice back. I'll give Pedro props, he kept the Phillies in the game, but AJ was better. Seats were in the right field 2nd deck, just to the foul side of the pole. _________________ The Orangemen are just a rock-solid, consistent winner that hasn't suffered a losing season since 1968-69. |

Yankees payroll $201,449,289
Phillies payroll $113,004,048
Matter of fact the next highest payroll was the Met @ $135 million
Was it even a fair fight??
Props to the Yankees they were the better team but it is far past time for a hard cap in baseball. The game is ruined as is. _________________ thats it |

I agree on the need for a cap. 1/2 the major league teams have slim to no chance of winning a world series. It's not an even playing field, IMO.
That said, the Phillies were the defending champs, and had better pitching (see: Lee, Cliff). Yankees just outplayed them. _________________ Few things are funnier than a stupid person trying to sound smart |

I didn't say the Yankees were at fault, they followed the rules.

You were making the point for the Yankees while conveniently ignoring the point for the Red Sox.
I wouldn't be against a salary cap at all. _________________ ex-gambler |
